Tatiana Bailey has her master’s in applied economics and her doctorate in public health, both from the University of Michigan. In the health care arena, Dr. Bailey has focused on programs that aim to increase access and quality while reducing costs. She also presents to audiences who wish to be better informed about the general framework of the health care system in the United States.

In the economic development field, Dr. Bailey presents nationwide, year-round on the current national, state, and local economies. She also participates in various economic development initiatives and has particularly focused on closing the skills gap. Recently, Dr. Bailey founded and is the executive director for Data-Driven Economic Strategies (DDES), which focuses on rigorous, unbiased monthly economic reporting and workforce development initiatives particularly for underserved communities. She also serves as an economic development resource to both businesses and government in various communities across the nation. In 2016, Dr. Bailey was a “Woman of Influence,” and in 2018, was named “Business Leader of the Year.”

When not working, Dr. Bailey enjoys watching the Michigan Wolverines, the Colorado Avalanche, swimming, hiking, having dinner with her five children and husband while sipping her favorite Chardonnay-nay, and counting her many blessings.

Rebecca Wilder earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Taylor University in Indiana. She taught for 11.5 years, primarily at the middle school level in math and science. She took a break from teaching to work for Wachovia Securities for five years where she became very familiar with research, analysis, and compilation of data. She took another break from teaching to pursue a master’s degree in Business Administration through UCCS.

While studying at UCCS, Rebecca became a Research Assistant for the UCCS Economic Forum in the College of Business and then became a full-time staff member in June 2015 after graduating. After eight years of data analysis work for UCCS, she joined Data-Driven Economic Strategies in October 2022 to continue to share her love of numbers, organizational skills, and background in education to help encourage workforce and economic development while balancing family life.

Rebecca is the mother of two active teenage boys so her time away from work is spent helping them to channel their energy in positive and productive ways. Her current hobbies are those that can be squeezed into free moments – like reading and crocheting.

Gabrielle Glassford serves as the Associate Director of Workforce Development, where she specializes in aligning educational and training programs with the evolving needs of regional labor markets. Gabrielle is passionate about closing skills gaps and ensuring that individuals, particularly in rural and underserved areas, have access to high-quality career pathways.

She has played a pivotal role in projects like Emergent Campus Trinidad, which brings tech training and job opportunities to rural Coloradans. Additionally, she works with the Lewis Palmer School District Career and Technical Education (CTE) Innovation Center, where she collaborates with the district team to ensure students are equipped with skills for in-demand careers. Gabrielle’s work focuses on long-term economic resilience through targeted training and education that meets both current and future workforce needs.
